Hurricane Milton Evacuation Orders
When the County is preparing for a storm, evacuation orders may be issued by the government and will be posted on this page (as well as announced publicly).
Zones Currently Under Evacuation Orders
There are currently no evacuation orders in place.
Hillsborough County has lifted the mandatory evacuations for Zones A, B, and all Mobile and Manufactured homes.
If you choose not to evacuate contrary to current evacuation orders, the decision is at your own peril. Understand that emergency responders will be unable to come to your aid during sustained tropical storm-force winds. In addition, depending on the extent of flooding and storm damage, it may be a long time after the storm before responders could reach you
For more information regarding evacuation and zones, I encourage you to go online to HCFL Gov dot net slash Stay Safe. Then click on “Storm Safety Information,” then choose the tab that says “Evacuation Shelters and Zones”.
Rules for Recreational Vehicles (RVs), Mobile Homes and Manufactured Homes
All recreational vehicles (RVs), mobile homes (trailer homes), and manufactured homes in ALL parts of Hillsborough County must be evacuated if an evacuation order is issued for ANY part of Hillsborough County.
For example: Even if ONLY zone A is ordered to evacuate, ALL mobile homes, manufactured homes, and RVs in ALL of Hillsborough County must also evacuate.
